PS belt replacement

Quick one folks, finally getting around to replacing my eaten PS belt but can't seem to get at the "bolt labelled A" in the diagram here: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/therealbatfink/belts.html
I've replaced the belt before (note to self - always check the belt is tightened properly after a week or so of driving!) I assume I need an offset spanner/ slim socket to get at it but I don't own one so I'm not sure how I managed it before.
Am I missing something or is the offset/bent spanner required?

An offset spanner will work or even a normal spanner at an angle.

You'll have to find Your way round that, what i use is the offset spanner, also have 1/2 inch ratchet thats small enough to fit in there with the socket.

I think he has to remove the alternator belt first.

Thanks guys, I'll pick up an offset spanner I think as there's a slight risk of running the bolt off

Just a warning - if it eats another belt my guess would be the main crank pulley
As the pulleys are a 2 piece pulley and the back half can separate front the front half.

Also the alternator pulley can cause the same problems as it wobbles and the belt shreds

Might not have explained myself very well

The Alternator belt PULLS on the crank pulley so a shake on the alternator tensioner will have an effect on the
PS belt.
People should replace both the PS Belt, PS tensioner & Alt Belt Tensioner and Alt Belt
As per Gates belts http://www.gates.com/europe/index.cfm?location_id=5211

Sorry but the right way to do something is NOT the cheapest way

Hey Mike, thanks for the advice, wish I saw it earlier!
The belts have been replaced already I'm afraid so I'll see how they fare and if they do get eaten I'll be doing the whole shebang.
NCT is on Saturday so that might throw up a few other gremlins to rectify in the mean time.
