Do you need oil or water temp?
Incorrect idle may be symptom of other engine problems.

The Lambda sensor will be in the Downpipes. The one in the cat is just a temp sensor to warn you when the cat gets too hot.

Sorry for the hijack.. Do you not have a little red light in your dash then - I do.. I don't find it annoying anymore..but If I could stick a sensor in my decat pipe I would.

Nope no red light on the dash maud. The cat didn't have a place for a heat sensor in it. there wa sno heat sensor at all. but when I bought the milltek decat box it had a screw in hole for a sensor... My mate found the perfect girth/length bolt for the hole in the decat box and hey presto, perfect.
Maybe its just a version R thing? I guess it must have a different CAT in it, as I have no sensor hole in the cat.
