urgent!!!!! el dials problem

just fitted these but when i turn the lights on they dont come on till i use the adjuster. is there something ive missed. bad earth maybe? what position should the switch on the inverter be at? do need to remove the old bulbs too from the back of the dash??

ot : where did you find the KMC kit ? it's the 06 or 07 model ?>

i got them off the ftooc back in march and only got round to fitting them as converting my speedo at the same time

Do you have a volt meter handy?

If yes, measure voltage drop over the two leads when the lights are on.

I forget what I hooked my set up to - but it was somewhere in the center console anyways - cause I remember cutting the bejaysus out of my hand running the wires in behind the dash - those metal brackets are sharp!

it seems as if theyre not gettin enough power when ya turn the lights on. but when you use the adjuster they come on. is there a way of saving the light setting you want?

When I installed my dials, I set the adjuster to the way I liked it and tucked it behind the dash.
Haven't seen it since, the dials stay the way they were set.

thats what i thought too but mine turn off every time. then need set everytime i turn the lights on

the ashtray light. might earth it on somethin else one the metal brackets.
