Events Organiser required for FTO-Ireland

Postby CJ » Mon Jul 14, 2008 11:19 am

We are looking for an Events Organiser to coordinate meets and FTO-Ireland attendences at events and shows. The successful candidate will work with the FTO-Ireland management team to lead and streamline the events and meets process.

You will be motivated, proactive and outgoing with an ability to coordinate events across the island of Ireland. Interested parties should email ciaran @ fto-ireland.com describing their suitability for the position.

Closing date for entries is Monday the 21st of July.

Please join me in welcoming colm_mcm to the the newly created FTO-Ireland Events Organiser role, congrats Colm!

Going forward, Colm will be responsible for all official club meets and events from an organisational perspective, requests for club show and event attendence should be directed directly at Colm (this also applies to meet ideas - Colm should be your first point of contact). As always, members are welcome to organise their own mini meets or invite other members to meets organised by other clubs.

[Speech]Cheers for the words of support lads, you can rest assured that I will work hard to make the road trips better organised, and hear everyones opinions and arguments on routes/activities before they happen, rather than have post-mortems on what went wrong. I'll try to up our already slick game with regards to our appearance and exposure in shows. For this I'll need all your opinions, suggestions and criticisms so feel free to PM me about anything you think we could do.
Special thanks to CJ for this opportunity to give something back to the site[/speech]

Wouldn't "Fun Time Organizer" not be more appropriate?

you'll just have to learn to take me seriously Bernard!
