The GPX is faster, and has features such as adjustable tappets, bigger tyres and better brake calipers, but otherwise there isn't much of a difference really unless you want the extra power. The real thing to look at is if you want a manual or an automatic.

I've got a auto GR at the moment, have had no problems whatsoever but I've heard of a few people complaing about the box after a while, so I would suggest a manual personally. If you can't get one and only find an auto, then just make sure it's been looked after and has smooth gear changes, otherwise keep away. Other common problem I can think of is the central locking in the left door stuffs out, like mine did, but easily fixable.

Hope that helps a bit and good luck with your search!

the buying guide on the front page is a good place to start, it'll point out all the differences between models and what to look out for.

As far as I know, yes they are, but who knows what you might come accross? Maybe you find one who stuck a 5speed auto in an older model, unlikely though.

Like I said try for a manual, and do as much research as you need to before buying one.
