standard and racing clutch????

hey peeps, im set to buy a new clutch. i saw a racing one one ebay. reasonable price,but before i go ahead and purchase it wats the difference between a racing clutch and a standard driving and reliability wise thanks..
...Me fail english?..Thats unpossible.....

the higher % organic it is the mre bite it has.
also they can handle more pressure throuht the drive train

think there heavier,
i was gonna get a 10% organic exeddy one for just shy of two hundred sterling... no problems with heavy clutches cos the fto's clutch is rather heavy?


you could go paddle clutch but no majour need unless for looking to go hard

Ones mans description of a "racing" clutch could be another mans description of a crap one. I presume you are still talking about a single plate clutch utilising the standard flywheel?

Lets see the links/clutch you are intending to use and then we can advise better.

Well - Its def not a "racing" clutch - I'd be surprised if it was better than OE to be honest.

Better off sticking to what we know is a good quality OE type clutch - http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... b0s12p7606

Adding a lightweight flywheel to either will help performance as well.
