No, not normal, but sounds like your battery could be on the way out. I know you just bought the car, but any idea how old it is?

Yeah sounds like a flat-bat to me as well..what does the volt meter say when you turn the key to the "on" position? Also what does it read when the car is running?

Its a very small battery for such a big car - it will drain fairly quickly especially if you have any extras like a big sound system or lights etc.

As we're coming out of the winter it will probably be ok for the summer but you should be thinking of replacing it. they're not too expensive.

Yeah - I'd say get yourself a larger battery.. I myself run with the largest one they have in Halfords.. costs around 100e & I had to modify my battery bracket alittle.. but well worth it..

I have spent 4 hours in the car..music on loud.. started right up afterwards :-)

I modified mine with a pair of pliers and a hammer. Works a treat. I hope the 100e includes the battery!
