Headlight condensation

Postby ottostreet » Sun Aug 08, 2010 12:56 pm

Tried putting this in FTO Knowledgebase, but 'new topic' refuses to show up!

My drivers side front headlight is physically fine, with no peeling or anything, but for some reason...ALWAYS has condensation inside it. The passenger side is perfect. When im washing the car, and using hot water or a hot jet on the lights, the light completely clears of condensation...Is there a way of clearing the condensation perfectly?

Standard users can't create posts in the KB, moderators move posts with answers to tech questions posted into the forum.

Light condensation has been discussed a few time, have a search of the forum. Heres one example.

Basically, you need to take off the bumper to remove the light, seal it up with silicone and if that doesn't work, its a light into the oven job.
