Whatever about the choice of colour, I do think it's a good idea to flag this. Obviously if it's a typical Jap import the target market will be well aware of this and not put off by same. In the case of a UK import -with the same or almost indentical spec as the Irish market car it would not necessarily be apparent that the car is imported. (Yes I know this information in contained in the licencing cert). In the case of a UK import they are just flagging that they are only accounting for the Irish part of the history. The car could be a UK cat B or C write off, with no indication of same on the Irish system. It could prompt the buyer to dig a little deeper -which should surely be a good thing (for the buyer).
