Search is your friend, this has been discussed on a few occasions e.g. http://www.fto-ireland.com/forum/phpBB2 ... php?t=1489

KYB is a quality damper - a lot of guys on here rate them highly. For the price Camskill is selling them at - they represent excellent value. Try calling your local Mitsubishi garage and getting a price on OE dampers - they will be a lot more expensive though and barely as good.

The OEM one are made by KYB, but are only available through MItsi for crazy money.

The KYB ones on Camskill are actually for a Volvo S40 but are exactly the same as FTO ones.

Your standard springs are prob OK. I would check the condition of the top mounts, if worn these can cause knocking over rough road.

The aftermarket front KYB's are not quite the same, the plate that the
coil spring sit on it at a slightly different angle to the standard FTO shock.
They are for a Volvo S40.
Cannot remember exactly but I think it kicks the wheel in slightly in the top.

Rear shock are same a colt and many other models of Mitsubishi.
