FTO Attempted Robbery - Repair parts needed

Postby moonpig » Wed Mar 28, 2007 1:38 pm

Hi All,
I've a 97 FTO and it got broken into last week, they didn't get it but they did alot of damage to my steering & ignition etc. I only got it so hadn't put the alarm in yet... I'm finding it hard to get the parts, I tried Jap Autospares already. Can you recommend anywhere I might have more luck? Or anyone who specialises in these sort of repairs? Thanks

Steelroe, Camskill and RiceRocket are the people you want to be talking to for parts.

Hi Moonpig, Welcome to the board.

What part of Dublin are you based in?

Moonpig, I've a mechanic mate living up in Lanesborough if you need any assistance. Failing that, Paul Nolan (0862649884) in Artane is your man if you're looking for a well known and reliable FTO mechanic.

Note that Modo up in Finglas have a Mitsubishi pasrt section if all else fails, get in touch with the guys listed above first.

There's a good few breakers that advertise on ebay too, always some parts on there as well as selling a pedal rubber with an ad attached.
