Replacement indicator bulbs

As my post in the for sale section says http://www.fto-ireland.com/forum/phpBB2 ... php?t=3929 , I've changed my front bumper and I'm using Levin indicators at the moment. These are causing the indicators to act like there is a blown bulb (flashing quickly). Anyone know if I can just stick in higher watt bulbs to solve the problem (otherwise I need a new set of indicators)?!?
