How to polish

Postby Muad_dib77 » Thu Nov 02, 2006 1:04 pm

Guys - those of you wit hexperience in the ares will probably fall over laughing - but I haven't a clue - there! It's said!

What would you use to polish your intake manifold?
I'm talking both tool wise and ehm - product wise..

I'm considering buying myself a dremel as an early xmas present - would this do the job?

I feel like i should be doing something more than watching that 70s show on the dark evenings after I get home from work..

Forgot to mention - a polishing mop set (search ebay) for a hand drill would be your best best, its a painstaking process if you just use a Dremel and sandpaper.

Yeah, pretty much. You'd also want something like this to get into those hard to reach areas.

make sure you get a strong motor, ( dremel multi, or black+ decker ), i was given a cheapo version as a pressie, it kept slowing down under the slightest loading, it came with lots of accessories but unfortuntately wouldnt cut butter,
