What is it that makes you feel you need a second opinion?

Hi Em,

I've edited out your phone number as you'd posted it in the public section of the forum.

If I was in that area I'd be more than happy to go for spin in your GPX. But just in case there isn't anybody around we might still be able to help if you let us know what makes you think something might be wrong with your GPX?

that's fine muad no worries :)

i don't think there's anythin wrong with her per say, i just wouldn't mind someone who knows their stuff takin her out and makin helpful suggestions :D ok for example the wheels are 17" and there's a slight rubbing on full lock, i don't know how to rectify this problem or even if it can be!! also she seems awful loud!! That's probably more to do with the fact that my last car was a punto though :r

Emma, did you buy your car in Annacotty? Is it red?

And how did you hear about the forum if you don't mind me asking...?

well actually it WAS white, it has now turned an extremely unbecoming shade of cream in places :( any suggestions on how to restore it to its original glory, bearing in mind that i'm a student, a full respray is sooo not an option!!!

A respray shouldn't be required. If you can get some pics up it might be useful for those giving advice.
I'd suggest though a bit of elbow grease is the main thing required, and some rubbing compound will be a good place to start.

Yup, rubbing compund is good for it, wash it first though so you can see the bad parts. My back bumper has bits like that, actually more than half like that, think someone tried some product on it and it didnt work, wasnt me by the way!
