Shipping pallet from UK - inexpensive couriers?

Postby kevinod » Thu Jun 05, 2008 11:34 pm

Hi,

just wondering if anyone could recommend an inexpensive courier that could collect a pallet in the UK (north west England)?

Quotes I've seen so far - £125+vat and £150+vat. Its a set of seats & door cards so not huge & not very heavy, but the cheapest way would probably be by pallet.

Kev.

I had to organize a courier for a 100kgs pallet from uk. The cheapest quote I found was 120 pounds. I ended up spliting the pallet into 3 smaller packages. If you can get the package under 30kgs its only 20pounds/package so it works out cheaper. You should also check the volumetric weight as the 30kgs limit refers to the highest between the actual weight and the volumetric one.

Thanks Gabico, I'll take a look at that. Do you remember who you used?
