Standard 17" alloys for FTO?!

Guys,
I`m just bored and looking around on eBay. Found this auction:

I sent the message to this bloke that it is probably a mistake as these alloys must be 16" especially that tyres are R16.

He wrote me back:

"Read the full response to question on the listing. Research is the key to the knowledge you crave my son."

so I did and he claims that this is 17" anyway hehe just read his response to some guy.

My response:

"well father... you are wrong as these alloys are the standard ones for FTO and you should check the spec. And there is no way to fit R16 to 17" alloys and whoever said differently just messing you"

Not that I want to buy them but it is just my curiosity

Ah sure this guy is probably measuring the outer diameter and not the inner..

16 inch tyres do not fit on 17" rims..

they're just standard FTO 16 inch alloys.

BTW - I have a set of these in black with decent tyres if anyones interested - going cheap!
