New alloys needed.

Postby Viper » Wed Jul 14, 2004 11:42 am

Need to get a new set of alloys for the car.... distroyed one of them last night of a kerb, along with a big chunk of tyre.
Where do people recommend to get alloys in Ireland? There are loads of places around but the prices differ hugely for the brand I am looking for. (Oz Supperleggera 17x8 steel grey) Also finance is necessary as I can't afford to pay up front....
Any tips greatly appreciated...

No, nothing like that, just doing a three point turn in an estate and caught the corner of a driveway slope, jagged edge took a big chunk out of the tyre and destroyed the edge of the rim.

Thanks for the sites, I'll have a brouse through them!

If you're on standard rims you should be able to pick one up (or are you using this as a excuse to upgrade?), Mark had a set for sale a while back.

No, they're not standards, they're some Japanese aftermarkets which are falling apart, and therefore are a disgrace to the FTO community. Suppoese in a way, yes it is an excuse to upgrade.. (..subconsiously hit that kerb on purpose!)
