I think I have decided to go for a custom built exhaust guys waiting on a finalised price but in the region of €300.00 I think.

Ask yourself what you want out of an exhaust - a throaty noise, a clean finish or freer engine breathing (or perhaps all of these things things). In my experience, custom exhausts can be quite loud unless you clearly state what you're looking for to the exhaust builder. The Mongoose and Blueflame variants have been tried and tested, that said, Mark got a custom twin exit a few years back, it was the best sounding and looking exhaust I've come across on an FTO to date. I can't be sure but it may have been a Powerflow unit.

That exhaust was built by a guy out in Balbriggan..very difficult to get hold of as he only works certain days. I forget what boxes they use but they're not powerflow as far as I recall.. My Noise buckets are powerflow..

they're in this vid from 1.22 unfortunately there's some music over it, but still if you compare to the other ftos there's a definate difference.
