Is insurance the reason you're going GSR as opposed to an Evo? are they easy to insure? do you intend on modifying it?

no im going GSR becuse i want a road car for work thats nippy too and not going to be a pig on fuel as ill be living in athlone and driving to newbridge daly. & my insurance is cheaper on a GSR

Makes sense I guess. lad at work had one and they're quick. have they much modding potential, I think standard in a straight line they're around the same as a FTO GR?

Dan is the WHITE Turbo up and runnng, mapped etc at this stage, would love to see this in the flesh!!

didnt take the GSR in the end. taking cash money for the FTO and a few bits for the FTO.

Im paying off the money i owe for the white FTO and getting it mapped.(reson this hasnt been done is all my extra money was paying off the blue one)

all going well white one should be on the road in about 2 weeks.
could have her out and about in a matter of days I suppose but running on the road in a coupple of days.

if you want to sell it over here dan I think a set of irish plates and an nct would help a great deal.

for anyone looking to transfer the upgrades their car it's good value, I got the impression the car would need serious welding (€700, less, more - who knows) to get through and NCT, VRT would be another €700 or so.

I reckon Dan has the right idea in what he's doing. the right person will come along for the car eventually.
