GX audio problem, pictures

Postby fox » Mon Mar 15, 2010 5:09 pm

Hi, I couldn't find a right thread, so I though I'll ask.

I wanted to change the stereo for a new one from the original mitsubishi stereo.

But I have a problem, the sockets doesn't match.
Here are 4 different things needs to be connected, anyone knows where to buy or have an adaptor socket or something?

The new radio is Sonichi S7000-DVD/CD Player

Thanks a million.

In the first pic, the only connection you will use is the large antenna plug, the other smaller one is not required in Europe.

You'll need to buy an ISO harness adapter to plug the white lead into your stereo, search the for for 'ISO', Alternatively, chop off the head and wire manually (cable layout is on the forum). Its unlikely, you'll be able to use the stock CD changer (black plug) with your new stereo.

Right, just got my harness delivered.
Will be mounting new stereo today.
I've noticed and read somewhere that the ground connector needs to be screwed in somewhere.
Where is the best place to screw it in?

When you put the unit in, just attach the ground to one of the fixing screws that go through the brackets. That should do it.
