Performance car days out??

Hi all.

I want to plan something for my wifes birthday... she is as car mad as I am. So, can you please help me....

You know in Ireland we can't really turn up at a race track and rent a Ferrari or Porsche for a few laps etc.... it just doesn't happen. So, I am thinking of getting a flight to the UK with her and doing one of these track days with her.

Has anyone expereince of any of these days.... what's the best way to do or book it, any good web sites. Pref one near an airport, but if it's on the west coast we might even take the 911 over and drive to the track day. Any advise greatly appreciated as to what the best one is is terms of:

- Best Cars to drive
- Best value for what you get
- Best time on the track as oppossed to waiting around!

You know what I mean.....

i did the supercar experience in Silverstone!!

it was quality, got to drive a lotus Elise, a Porsche 911 and a Ferrari 355!! then a race guy brings you out in the elise and shows you what they are actually capable of!!

it was well worth the trip!!
