I presume that you don't have a turbo conversion ?

If not then here's no point even trying to get it remapped as there are negligible gains to be acheived. Don't waste your money if someone says that they can do it.

Ai can't do it.

No turbo, but I'm not after bhp gains, more after the better fuel economy.

have you got a reprogrammabale ECU thingy like an Apexi yoke like d_dan had?

TBH, you'd be better off spending the money on petrol.

As per Colm - by the time you've paid for the ECU and/or mapping - you'd never make the money back on the fairly minimal increase in economy. Aftermarket ECU's (either piggyback or full EMS) are more about getting the fueling right on a modded car and getting reliable power - I'm sure the standard ECU will do just fine on your FTO unless you start to go outside the parameters of air/fuel/timing etc brought on by extensive modding such as exhaust + decats + induction + increased volume plenum + fuel pump + Fuel pressure regulator + larger injectors etc etc or Forced induction (turbo or supercharged).

If you are looking to increase economy then loose weight from the FTO (spare wheel/excess trim) or both efficency and weight -e.g. - remove air con (reduce load on engine and reduce weight) or use decats (standard cats are very heavy and inefficent).

Or just adjust your driving style - early shift - minimal braking (keep good distance to car in front) - low rolling resistance tyres etc etc,
