So what were your impressions of the FTO on the track, does all the rust on it affect the way it drives?

Are you using standard brakes?

6 pots on the front.
but its down to the way you enter corners.
I could get around a bend only hitting the breaks 50 feet before the apex and stay on the track but if i broke softly at 150 feet i could keep so much more speed.

Car handeled well very little roll, need to bunk down to 17's, 18's are way too big for the track.

The power steering pump failed after about 8 or 9 laps (3 laps at a time out)
All I will say is that the FTO really misses out on not having a LSD it was a huge issue. I couldnt turn if you watch the video how far i was sliding across at the esses just because if i tryied to turn in harder i would have went off.
And then the power i have at the wheels comming out of a bend in second gear if i planted boot the car would start spinning the wheels.

Other than that she was a peacha nd took some serious dogging and held up well :ll

not really planning on tracking it at all to be honest. its why i got the blue one. Too much TLC into the white one.
Might bring her for a few laps when i have experience but untill then na no plans at all

Man that looks like such good fun!

Pity about the mishaps and the parts failing... but hey these things happen..

Nice1 Dan - good to hear that you're gonna stick at it!

Not that I'm an expert or anything - but slicks are meant to be a very different kettle of fish altogether - once they get up to temp that is :-)

Are the plans for the slicks and LSD now shelved given that you're looking to get rid of the car, or will you be installing the slicks on the white machine for a burn

I think Dan needs to perfect his late brakeing techniques before he risks taking the white one on track
