You'll be able to get money for the car for parts will you?? I'd imagine there is alot on the car that could be stripped out for sale seperately??

If it is to be swapped out, I will get most of the addtions moved to the new one.
Ie, exhaust, springs etc.
Still going to be out of pocket a good deal though I suspect.
Damn uninsured drivers.

Cj I work for a radiator manufacturer/distributor so I can get most Radiators, Oilcoolers, Condensors, Intercoolers and sundries like pressure caps and fillernecks. Also anything we dont have we can custom build.

Also i know a few people in the industry so if anyone needs aircon gas re-charged and the like!

If anyone needs anything let me know ive never sold/seen and Fto stuff but im sure we've something similar that would do the job. It really unusual becuase off the shelf we have 200sx, Evo 4,5,6 , supra , Gto, and even an NSX

I am a little in shock, still not entirely sure this actually happened.
2pm today, an uninsured kid in a fiesta tried to do a u-turn across 2 lanes of traffic.
Thud.
Main Dealer quote for repair of my FTO - €7780- The kids car was worth a single one of my headlights.
How the hell are they gonna pay for this? THe kid is a decent enough fellow, but he is so damn stupid driving without insurance. Where am I gonna get another GS, especially with all the effort Shane put into it. Gah!

Just saw the post tonight - sorry to hear about this man. That sucks ass big time! Seriously bad luck with the uninsured driver - I kinda know how you feel having been stung by insurance after having a drunk and abusive idiot run out from behind a parked car and still get 30K in damages despite me having an independant witness stating it wasn't my fault. Insurance sucks. Anyway I hope you it all sorts itself out for you. That said I can't believe the quote you got for repairs - the damage doesn't look that bad. You should have a look at sourcing some 2nd hand parts from the UK.
