I'll be heading along anyway, if enough people are interested we can meet up somewhere beforehand.

I'm happy enough to meet in Naas at say 12pm, where do you suggest? (bear in mind that my Dub directional skills fail to operate once I get past Maynooth ;))
Dave, you and Karl up for it as well, anyone else for the final roll call?

Myself and Joe headed along yesterday, we saw 2 FTOs in the 'car park' (silver + black, both 95 KE) and a silver GR\GS in the grounds of the main event.
All in, it was a good day out with plenty to see, Irish performance parts companies have come a long way in the past few years, this was apparent from the amount of trade stands and the quality of the work to be seen on the show cars (nice Supras, GTOs, EVOs and even a Starion :))

The drifting was a bit of crack, its good to see old jammers like the Open Manta giving 200sx's a run for their money in the sideways stakes.

There were some surprises on the 1/4 mile circuit as well, a V8 engined pickup truck nearly had a 360 Modena on the straight. I would have liked to get an FTO on the 1/4 mile track (€50), in saying that pretty much every car on track had a turbo so it would only have been for the crack!

Contrary to what people may have thought, the 'element' at this event was pretty respectable, the fact that it was well run would have made for a good safe family day out if you so wished.

CJ,
Were there any owners clubs on display there? If so, any good?

There was a fair contingent of Scoobies from the ISDC and plenty of cars from jon44w.com, not one FTO on display though, pity as it would have been a great opportunity to advertise the 'cause'.

Found 2 FTOs in the Octane pics, but the first one is very heavily modified, , even body panels, it is an FTO isnt' it?? Saw it somewhere before and wasn't sure enough that it was an FTO to put it in spotted! Personally a lot of what I think of as features in the FTO he's nearly hidden, like the front wheel arches...

Aaaahhh... the lights were throwing me off, the lines of the car looked all wrong for an FTO so a bit of head scratching done there... Very few RX7 about, think thats the only one I've seen around the place. Many around the pale?
