Damn BLAST!

Getting my car lowered - and turns out - there's a leak in my Front Passengerside shock... I'd noticed some oil on the shock myself last time I was fiddling about with my sprinkler water res... But didn't think too much of it as it was all covered in dirt..

Anyways - turns out I need to replace the front set..

Does anybody have a set floting about...
...any thoughts on what's the best deal out there at the moment?

..Will I need bushes and stuff as well?

..Why do I have NO LUCK WHATSOEVER?

I put KYBs on mine... I got them from a user called nipponnev I think it was on ebay, he was a fair bit cheaper than camskill. Ricerocket should be able to help you out too, not sure how his kyb shock prices compare.

You probably won't need to replace bushes with it, but of course that depends on the condition of the the bits and pieces. My bumper stop, etc were perfect so I didn't need to.

With regard to KYB shocks. Rears are no problem but if you buy the KYB's you are going to need Camber adjustment bolts.

Here is some info you guys will find useful.

KYB distributed by NAtional Autoparts in Dublin.

KYB part numbers are as follows 334174 + 334175 (these are list for the Volvo S40 and are the exact same you will get from camskill. Give national auto a ring and thay will give you details of the factors nearest to you.
