Not quite.

just the mods ive listed
its wot i got told when i brought the car, i thort how does all that add up to 67bhp cus there 200bp standard
but cams is about 25 bhp, superchip is 20% so say another 25bhp then the exhaust n filter n plugs its about right but ive neva done a rolling road

jeeze... I cannot believe its the same kit. That car actually looks pretty nicely done. Obviously very well cared for too. the interior is spotless and that list of receipts is impressive.

Similar to what McGon said - that ludicrous claim would put me off buying that FTO if I was in the market for one.

Really like the front bumper I have to say..If I had a pre-facelift I'd have this front bumper..

on a forum. there's no way it's putting out that much power. 220
maybe, doubtful it's even that much. the only way to get big gains on the GPX setup is by turbocharging. the factory setup is already on the limit.
Good luck with selling the car by the way, looks mint.

Hmm - theres no way he is even seeing 220bhp Colm. He needs to come up with a rolling road graph for any enthusiast to believe that his FTO is putting out anymore than 200bhp.

Anybody see Aprils edition of Banzai? - they have a feature on an FTO rolling road. A lot of mods on a few of the FTO's and very little difference in bhp - it seems to me that good bhp in an FTO is more to do with maintenance and having the right combination of mods than just a heap of mods on its own.

 Well in fairness he has done plenty of mods under the bonnet. -Pity they are nearly all cosmetic
How would one fit racing cams (replace the cam shaft) on a mivec engine. How would that work with mivec system? Would the mivec system (with two sets cams) be made completly redundant? In which case would the car have only the one set of racing cams, which are likely to make it un driveable in normal conditions?

The thing both these vendors have in common is they are both dreamers. Reality is harsh sometimes and it's nice to escape to your own little space sometimes........

I think it's part of an insanity defence, the owner's probably up in court soon.

There are clearly many figures fluctuating with this car, and I know a number of you are wondering when the right time to buy was/is.
By gathering the data, I can tell you that the best time to buy was back at the start of the month when it was €2999...

Economists are predicting both a rise in claimed bhp and a reduction in May asking prices. It remains to be seen.

Nice graph! Someone should email him to ask if he'll honor the price at the start of the month, send him this way while you're at it!

Agreed, we should definitely coax the seller onto the forum.

We might even get a post, if only in defence.
