We could not weld this two bar to the back suspension touretts and to the cage because we didnt had time.
Image
The Bars thar will protects the doors will be ready tomorrow.
Image
This cage will end up around 50kg....I dont care i can make it up with fiber glass and stuff. Nothing like having this cage on.Material is very strong and yet light but not as light as I thought.
Image

Ill try this eyebrows on they are too ¨tunning" for my taste ill rather go the racing way (more strandard and less obsessed by looks)...I might leave them on when painted black....later on ill like to hear what you think of them.
Image
Image
Image

We just rebuilded the front light if you go back in time ( afew pages back) youll see that this lights where opaque and dirty. know they look like new. We are doing the same with the fog.

Thats it for today.

Our homework is to study the gizzmo manual......am too lazy for that today.

Wouldnt put them on myself either, think you're car looks better without them Smoke. They tend to cover the eye of the light a bit much, gives it a sort of a dopey look or something? Other than that everything else looks great. And moving along very fast too!

Hi Danny,
We had to drill some parts to open and take out the gearbox. Dont remember what exactly I didnt do it myself I could ask the team.

I bought my LSD on RPW. It fitted like a glove with bearings and everything.

Quiafe LSD will make a difference careful they try to sell you a 1.5 way dif CUZCO RZ if i recall correctly....thats for drag and is clutched type so it will wear out and no lifetime guaranteed.

Cage is Done! Looks amazing and its I think we got a nice blend of 80% Confortable- 20% uncomfortable...Any way still its a street car It will have "backseats" nobody will use them but they will be there, has air conditioning and door covers etc.

We are polishing the paint a little will be out in like 100% DONE like by friday afternoon so ppl are trying to hurry up to finish my FTO.
Image

I could stand the tuning look that the engine had with the sponge cover net chromed so we are painting it black.

Ill ride with this on when its out: Image

Backseats are done and set with the cage they look pimp:

Lights are on from bumber plus lip is finnished

After 8 hours of final detailing its done and park in my garage at home:

Fist impressions:
We need to tune the car correctly after we do around 500 kilometers driving it slow etc.
Its not as fast as it will be after those 500kl ...mix is not correctly set...too many things to do know.
Retro gear is not entering fast we will fix this tommorrow....
The air filter came out during our test run.

The car handles curves like if it was on rails. All the investment on suspension and bars are cage where so necessary.

Im very happy...a little mad because retro takes a couple of seconds and pressure to go in but the team sais its a detail tehy will fix in 2 hours.

Sears feel so good actually helps for handling.

The LSD sounds a little but i love the sound and how it grips on curves its just wonderful..

Ill be updating you guys on every detail until de Dyno day..... I bet it will be around 138kw atw

best regards and thank you for following this thread and for all the support you have given me.

Best,
J

Hello guys,

Regarding how fast we worked: I started posting in this order FTOOC, FTO Australia, FTO Ireland. I started posting with the work all ready started we did this in 5 months.

After driving for 5 hours today I parked it again in Lama Competition Garage again because Retro gear is not entering properly....and its really annoying.
They will work today and tomorrow to finish it for monday.Tranny rods are the problem i dont know the exact terms in english...but they are the rods that make gears work.

The car is amazing I will bore you to death talking about how it turns etc. Ill make some videos for you that will talk for them self's.
I cant go too fast for around 5000klm but ive dived into curves moderatly fast today in 4th gear and it grip to the ground like a beast.

Half the team was in the car today, other half where buying parts we needed.

Interior need a lot of work Actually is kind of messy and I dont like it. We need a lot of interior work know but it will be done at a slower pace because there are not thar bad but I know Im a maniac with those details so ill make them look fine.

S
