Anyone use EvoScan?

Postby Syst3m » Mon Feb 25, 2008 3:04 am

Hey,

Was wondering if anyone uses Evoscan and if they have gotten the speed reading to work?

Have read request ID 6A works for FTO's but hasn't for mine.

Maybe GPX vs GR (do they have different ECU's?)

Or needs to be delimited?? would that make a difference?

Cheers,

Phil

I haven't used Evoscan but I've considered getting a copy for use on the FTO (and the VR-4). Phil, what cable are you using out of interest?

Heres a link to Evoscan for interested parties:

Yup, installed v2.1 on my laptop last week as it happens.

Tbh i haven't tried the speed reading, most of the time I've only connected it up to the car while it was sitting in the drive at home, but I'll try to hook it up and go for a short spin while its logging later on.

I thought I saw a price on there somewhere, saucy enough, ~$370 if I remember correctly?

There's Palm Pilot software I've used too, seems to work fairly well. I must dig that out too.

EDIT: just had a look, US$279, price just below those pics
