BONDING DC SIDE SCIRTS!!

Looking to buy the D/C side scirts and front lip spioler,anyone know how easy or hard they are to bond on,ive looked on FUNKY,and they say can be troublesome to bond right.
Anyone done them there selfe or is this a job for the body shop?

p.s The V-R SPIOLER should have been back from the body shop in the morn,but its goin to get wednesday now""GUTTED""Anyway its all drilled out and ready to go.

The DC skirts really vary with regards to quality of fitment depending on who you buy from. I bought mine from Funky (don't know who his supplier is) - and though they weren't perfect it was nothing a good bodyshop wouldn't be able to sort out - would not have liked to fit myself. I don't think I would rely on just bonding the skirts to the body either - I have 3 brackets holding the skirts in place under the body as well as rivets on the end of the skirts as well as on the side of the skirts which had a compound put on top and then sanded down to blend the skirts into the bodywork. If you want to do the job yourself then I would recommend some kind of bracket underneath the skirt as well as bonding and fixing on both ends. The DC skirts look fine without blending in - I would have a personal preference for blended as it makes the FTO look like it was designed that way to begin with.
