For GPvRs they came with either blue or red seats. Very hard to get hold of, and go for pretty good money... mitsi were after something like nearly 3k for both front seat covers.

Hey, someone else who isn't a fan of them! A lot of people really like these, its supposed to be a 'race' look that people seem to like.

Personally they're not for me but there ya go.

Well you know..if I had those seats in my car I'd race down to the shop to get some snoopy covers or something with skulls & flames on them..

I suppose maybe they look "Racey" in a Risqué kinda way...

I like the GPvR seats - they do look better in the flesh - they are more blue than purple - come on the white GPvR - the Black cars get red seats as per Russmans.

The standard FTO trim is certainly no great shakes - I know what I'd rather.

But imagine the possibilties...... chuck the vR seat covers on ebay and they'll sell like hot rocks - then you'd have a few quid to spend on some leatherette covers from MaxAUS as well as a few other bits 'n bobs too...

Nope - I'd have a pref for GPvR seats over standard or leather - the standards are naff hence why I binned and stuck in a much more supportive set of aftermarket seats - now waiting for some Garda to tell me they're illegal.

Ah yeah., those seat there are way too loud you're going to get yourself in trouble driving with them.
That'll be 2 points on yer license and car confiscation for at least 2 weeks while they "test" your car.

hehe - just wondering cause if the seats were different/better I wouldn't change them either but as their the same I reckon I'd sell on the entire seat and replace them with something similar to MfFTO's..... after spending time in the golfs recaro's I've become a bit picky about seats...
