Marie, I`d choose the stuff straight from Camskill but that`s because I`m too lazy to look around.

If you order today you`ll get the parts in friday straight to your doors. But to be sure just call and ask about delivery (10pounds BTW).

Marie - John in the Mitsubishi parts department at the Coonagh Roundabout in Limerick will be able to sort you out for filter and plugs at a reasonable cost - especially if you intend to service the car before the weekend.

Don't forget to mention that the FTO you have is the 2 litre Mivec and that you need 6 plugs as you are now the proud owner of 6 cylinders. There are different plugs as standard front and back and the rears are tough to reach. I would recommend you order and fit 6 of the same type longer life plugs that are fitted to the rear bank. Is there any history on the car to suggest when the plugs where last changed??

The Oil didn't look 2 healty a colour like? I actually think the guy that sold me the car lied out thro his teeth? He told me the Timing belt's were just done but there is no indacation of that either! You know the way normally you'd use Tipex & write the milege none of that!

Marie,
The oil filter is common to a lot of mitsubishi cars, and you can pick one up in any motor factors. The standard plugs supplied by mitsubishi are NGK plugs
Spark Plug, 2.0 V6 MIVEC, Front GPX GPX NGK BKR7EKC-N NGK
Spark Plug, 2.0 V6 MIVEC, Rear GPX GPX NGK PFR7M NGK
http://www.fto-ireland.com/parts_listing.html
Those part numbers are NGK part numbers. Front plugs are 'regular' standard life plugs. The rear ones are platinum tipped long life -hence the different part number and higher price! But physically they are all the same. So you can fit the platinum, long life plugs on the front cylinder bank also, as per MfFTO's suggestion.
Note however that you need to remove the inlet manifold to get access to the rear cylinder bank. In addition to this the spark plug 'barrel' on the mivec engine is keyed, that means that you need a special spark plug socket to fit these plugs -a regular spark plug socket will not fit in the barrel. If you are going to contact the mitsi dealer for parts be sure to have the chassis number to hand...
Best of luck
