Where and what time?

If there's no objections I'd say Birdhill at 11 would be fine, the Karting is about an hour away so we'd have plenty of time.
Laura /Cullen, that OK with ye?

Shane, will we meet you there or pick you up en route?

Love karting, just was in so much pain from the accident, am a bit anxious, but need to bite the bullet at some stage.

I know no one will try hit me purposely, but the person that hit me before made no attempt to swerve around me or brake, due to not being aware of what was going on around them.

So see you Berno at Finnegans.

What a great weekend. I knew when I met Bernard in Birdhill and he sat in my car and the first thing he said was "Do you want a sausage roll?", that the weekend was going to be epic

A big shout out to Shane again who brought us on a sat nav wild goose chase to the moon, crators and all. :) Incidentally, there is much water on the moon

Pallas was mad, I was sickened that I didn't ask for 2 booster seats earlier, my leg nearly fell off from tiredness. Enjoyed more than anything trying to control the kart, but wouldn't do it in the wet again, too many factors against enjoyment. Couldn't see through my visor for 70% of it, and if I took it off I got blinded. Would love to try in the dry. Bring on the summer. I don't think I've ever been that soaked...

Great meal, great people, mad craic. For all you losers haha, myself, Ross, CJ and Berno stayed up till 3.30, we are hard core :) MFFTO, my poor ass will never be the same again!

On the way home Berno had the SN on and we got 'kind of' lost. We ended up getting trapped in everywhere and in the end had to drive sheepishly through 2 floods on the back road to Ennis. We passed the Mexico boyos in Ennis town, the 9 seater was pulled into the side of the road while one puked his ring up

Most used phrase of the night: CJ "Beat the band"

Photos to follow, think Berno got some nice ones.

On a side note:

Mustang, are you aware of how cambered your rear wheels are?

Berno: your left indicator is doing funky things, as if there is a loose connection of water in there...

I've just realised something;
Was it the first meet that all the FTO's were facelift?

Another good meet with the hangover to prove it. Nice to see ye all again.
Some pics on facebook and here: http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc263/NoBroadband/December%2009%20Meet/

The karting was great craic, I lost count of the times I spun out.
Dinner was lovely, mmmmmm steak.

The hotel / pub was a good laugh (bar the nasty fight in the street).
Here's CJ offering a few pearls of wisdom

Great weekend really enjoyed it, karting was class, the track was prob in the most ''fun'' condition,
I was glad I got changed out of my wet clothes before Shane brought us on the mistery tour.
Meal was lovely and the pub after was great craic, had to head off early which was a pitty.
But all in all really enjoyable weekend, and the company was great :D

WHAAAT a weekend .

The drive from Dublin to Loughrea was just what i missed doing ; motorway then narrow roads then flooded roads then no roads  . it was great
Then episode 2 started , Pallas Karting . Dare i say it was one of the greatest experiences behind a wheel lately ? a wet as hell track , pissing rain and 10 lunatics spinning and speeding around the track . Fair play to Laura for doing this , it was rough . The 40 mins on the track seemed like long enough .

Driving to the hotel was good craic ( couldn't believe the floods were that bad till i saw it myself).

5 star hotel , cheap , nice and comfy. would deffo recommend
And what a dinner it was , I dont remember last time i ate so good.

Drinking session was as always a highlight of the day .

Thanks to everyone who attended and it was nice to meet some new peeps.
Few pics to follow
