New forum Mod: disabling avatars and signatures

I was asked some time ago for a lo-fi version of this forum, at the time, there was nothing suitable out there. In the same vein, I've since modified the forum config so as users can disable signature and avatars - very useful if you're on a low bandwidth link / mobile device or you don't want to be drawing too much attention to yourself in work

To use this feature, open up your Profile (top left of screen), you'll notice that there are two new options in teh list as per the image below:
