new lights

Hi guys looking for a bit of help in fitting new spots in a face lift bumper i have got the vw spots which have left and right printed on them but from dry fitting them could not work out which side was left or right its doing my nut in have to get these on as i am in scotland at the moment need them fitted for driving home...CJ the man for this as he has the same lights as far as i know....%%- :roll:

Are you're talking about the foglamps? IIRC, one side of the glass angles inwards, this side should be orientated towards the outside of the bumper towards the indicator, put the lamp unit side by side and you'll see what I mean. One other tip when fitting, consider using panel adhesive instead of a glue gun, it will create a much better bond (must update the fitting guide), the brand I used was Evostick Gun-o-prene, you can pick up a tube in any decent hardware \ builders providers.

Cheers CJ was the fogs i was talking about have them fitted now, I fibreglassed the carcus of the spot to the bumper now all i hope is the car will make it on to the ferry as its very very low at the front :shock: will post a pic when i get home :)
