Does anyone have this dial cover? Or similar made out of stainless steel. I have a friend who might be able to make them up. I need dimensions to see if its possible. Might get a few made up if there is interest.
Not sure what its called but I've seen a cover that sits under the bonet and covers the radiator area. It might be possible to get these done also agian I'd need dimensions. These could be made from stainless steel and polished. Will post a price if they can be made.

Think you mean a slam panel. they're currently available but tend to have tacky logos cut out of them. a plain one would be very nice.

I dont think they'd be able to do a logo anyway. Dont think the machine can cut lettering well not something like the FTO logo anyway. So would you be interested?

To to be clear here, are you talking 2 different pieces; 1) the dial surround and 2) the Slam panel?
Both products are available on FTOOC, but if they were available from an Irish producer at a similar price, I'd be interested in the dial surround.
As per Colm (and others mentioned this is other posts), I think the simpler design without the letter looks best.

I did see them alright. Its just an idea to see how much they would cost. My sis's fella works in the place so might see about doing them. It would envolve writing up a programme (think he'd be able to do that himself) for the machine to cut it out. We'd have to pay for the metal itself and for the cutting out, it could work out €100 or a €5 I honestly haven't a clue.I mean the more thats wanted the cheaper it should be. I'd be selling them at cost price I'm not looking to profit from them. But I'd need dimensions before I can do anything.

Yeah its 2 different items sorry bout the confusion.

I could try designing one myself but I would be afraid I'd make a hash of it. And it would probably take a lot longer, I'm not the best at things like that. Although there's always the sisters fella  I could ask failing getting measurements or a lend of one.
Dont forget we want the dials as well.

Seen as its for a good cause, I'll offer the lend of mine if you want it Karl. If I don't get it back and just get a nice shiny one instead I wouldn't be too angry either.. *cough cough*

the dial surrounds are so cheap from the ftooc (think mine cost around €12 or something) that they wouldn't be worth making.

I'm just gonna check it may not work out with the dials but the slam panels might. The programme for the design is simpler so less time spent writing it up. Its just to find out a figure on what they could be made for. If its too expensive I wont bother.

I'll have a slam panel, as long as the price isn't too extortionate..
Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

I only noticed this now sorry. I'l get it off you or take measurements at the meet in wexford. I might just bring a large sheet of paper and trace it. I'll be able to take measurements from that.
Cheers TopCat.

We'll have to see about that  If you want me to take it off you I could probably get it polished up and have it nice and shiny for you.
